We are currently recruiting for a Programmer to work with Enterprise Academic Application Services (EAAS) in the Department of University Information Technology for this exciting, Part-Time opportunity.

Are you an Information Technology professional with programming expertise?  Do you possess at least 3 years' of current and relevant experience? Do you possess advanced skills in computer applications and web-based development tools? Do you possess knowledge of best practices as they relate to software development methodologies? In this role, you will maintain and improve the systems and web applications that enable core enterprise-wide academic processes, specifically but not limited to YULink, course management, course evaluation, and academic resource management systems. The Programmer will develop new applications and enhance applications as required.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will possess:

A relevant College diploma; e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering. We are seeking candidates who possess 3 years of current and continuous programming experience on complex distributed systems using the required programming languages; comprehensive knowledge of relevant application development tools; in-depth experience and exposure to best practice software development methodologies. In addition, the successful candidate will possess incident management skills as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical users.
