The Programmer Analyst provides support for one or more of York's Enterprise systems such as the Alumni/Fundraising System, PeopleSoft HCM and Financials and the IBM Maximo Asset Management System. This includes translating the requirements into technical specifications, designing and developing solutions, ensuring that the systems are available and functioning efficiently, troubleshooting production problems, providing technical support to users, developing custom modules and systems, and modifying and upgrading software.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will bring the following:

College Diploma in Computer Science. Three (3) years of current and continuous programming experience in Information Systems Technology, which includes: 1 year experience providing technical support for an ERP application using reporting tools (e.g., BIRT, Oracle BI Publisher, Actuate, OBIEE) and programming languages such as PHP, Python, SQL, Java, and JavaScript, and 2 years development experience with PL/SQL against Oracle 12C or higher on Unix environments. Demonstrated experience writing and executing SQL statements is required.
