Analyst I, Collaboration Architecture
Permanent, full-time position – Toronto, ON
Play a vital role as part of the Toronto District School Board (TDSB) Information Technology Services (ITS) team in ensuring that the right cloud-based and on-premises collaboration technologies and solutions are in place to support teaching, learning and business needs.
Reporting to, and working with, the Senior Analyst – Technology Architecture, you'll identify and define architecture goals, roadmaps and guidelines for collaboration technologies and solutions within the Board. You'll ensure seamless integration with TDSB's technical infrastructure as you go about researching, designing, developing and implementing collaboration solutions and tools to support the requirements of classroom learning, business functions and efficient ITS operations.
As an Analyst I, Collaboration Architecture, you'll design, develop and integrate cloud-based/on-premises solution prototypes/proofs-of-concepts that can be used to deliver services that foster collaboration between users within the Board and third parties, and design/develop solutions/mashups that leverage existing technology architectural components in order to extend existing collaboration services offered. This collaborative role will see you working with internal application developers, Operations teams and external vendors in the definition, implementation and updates of DevOps practices for the TDSB environment, and with internal and external professionals and clients to promote existing and new collaboration technologies, methodologies and practices offered by ITS.
Looking to the future, you'll research and investigate potential technology solutions that align with TDSB and ITS strategies, in order to modernize and optimize TDSB's technology infrastructure, as well as evaluate and validate new applications and solutions to ensure they adhere to TDSB's technical standards and best practices, and support its vision for collaboration technologies and capabilities.

This CUPE Local 4400 permanent, full-time position, located at 140 Borough Drive (wheelchair accessible), may require occasional travel across TDSB sites. You must be available for on-call evenings, weekends and extended vacation periods, and to work overtime, as required.
