Our Information Technology team works closely with each department across the business to design, build and deliver innovative solutions that help make MPAC an international leader in the property assessment industry. Here's what you will do as part of the team:

  • Secure MPAC's Cloud-based solutions to ensure the security posture is maintained and enhanced moving forward;
  • Management of key AWS security controls such as IAM, Security groups, WAF & Shield, GuardDuty, Certificate Manger, Security Hub, Detective, Macie to name a few;
  • Ensure that Cloud solutions developed are aligned to Cloud best practice blueprints, playbooks, security and compliance requirements;
  • Provide technical support to junior staff and to the agile development teams;
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams (e.g. Operations, Development and Quality Assurance) to enforce and maintain and enhance the security posture;
  • Design and maintain security dashboards, metrics and analytics and use state of the art monitoring tools to gather insights and then act upon the results use state of the art monitoring tools to gather insights into the security posture; and
  • Create and execute test strategies to validate security controls to ensure the posture is maintained and enhanced.

Here's what you will need to succeed:

  • Completion of a college diploma or university degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field required;
  • Professional Cloud Security Certification;
  • 7-10 years of progressive development experience in a senior technical capacity;
  • At least 3 years of team lead experience, with a demonstrated ability to coordinate and lead a team of technical staff;
  • Advanced knowledge of cloud architecture and application deployment on AWS including operating systems, security, networking, and cloud native services;
  • Ability to manage competing priorities requiring flexibility, time management, multi-taking and on-going prioritization of work;
  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret information, troubleshoot technical issues and develop creative solutions;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to liaise with clients, vendors, project teams and peers and to prepare project reports, briefing reports and systems documentation; and
  • Perform duties off hours and on an on-call basis as required.
