Purpose:

Reporting to the Supervisor, Enterprise Applications, this position will play a key role in providing day-to-day system administration to both Salesforce Health/Service Cloud and Infor Hansen applications. This positon also implements system updates and upgrades as part of State of Good Repairs program to ensure that the software application is up-to-date. This position will also perform system implementation for new business requirements and provide ongoing support to business users. Training of Salesforce or Infor IPS will be provided to the candidate if necessary.

Preferred Background:
The successful candidate will have a University Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and minimum of six (6) years of IT working experience required. The incumbent will also have a minimum of three (3) years of proven experience in Salesforce Administration/Development on Health/Service Cloud and/or in Infor Hansen/IPS application. Salesforce Certified Administrator is required. Database/software application development experience would be an asset.

In addition, the successful incumbent will possess the following qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of the platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity

  • Strong understanding of Salesforce.com and/or Infor Hansen best practices and functionality requirements

  • Ability to interpret business requirements and to estimate workload

  • Experience with both reports and custom reports and dashboards

  • Good interpersonal communication skills and an affinity to work in a team environment; have the ability to balance multiple concurrent activities with a flexible and adaptable positive demeanor

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as assuming leadership role to work with cross functional teams

  • Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills, and strong data management abilities

  • Experience collaborating with project teams to identify project achievements, tasks, and required resources to develop a detailed project plan

  • Experience with public sector environment would be beneficial

  • Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator and App Builder would be beneficial

  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered

Working Conditions:

Flexibility to work outside of core business hours including evenings, weekends and holidays is required.

Duties:

  • Participates in Salesforce and Infor Hansen system administration, support and/or project implementation

    Configures and enhances Salesforce and Infor Hansen for new requirements

  • Meets with business users to gather and analyze business requirements and provides effort estimate and supports Salesforce and Infor Hansen system for patches and releases

    Backup supports for co-workers in supporting Salesforce and Infor Hansen systems

  • Prepares project documentation including but not limited to analysis, design, technical specification, user documentations, training material and provides end-user training enhancement project work

    Manages multiple assignments while concurrently fulfilling on-going application support and maintenance responsibilities

  • Works with internal and external technical resources to implement approved changes

  • Collaborates with other analysts to ensure system and procedural changes have minimum impact on other application areas

  • Provides technical support for ongoing system enhancements and improvements and upgrades

    Participates in project implementation including User Acceptance Test, RFP evaluation and product/tool research

  • Transfers knowledge to other co-workers including knowledge base documentation and training

  • Liaises and collaborates with vendors/contractors as required

  • Provides afterhours standby support as required

  • Perform other duties as assigned
