Chartright Air is searching to fill the position of a Senior IT Systems Administrator, reporting directly to the Manager of Information Technology. In this role you will be a key member of the IT team, responsible for ensuring the effective and on-going 7 x 24 operation of the organization's IT infrastructure.


Key Responsibilities
• Assist in the procurement, installation, maintenance, and on-going operations of all IT infrastructure including hardware, software, storage, network, and telecom
• Creation of documentation on existing IT systems and creation of new training materials for future systems, procedures, and applications
• Optimization and improvement of existing IT infrastructure, planning new expansions, change management of existing infrastructure
• Implement disaster recovery processes and ensure compliance with related policies and procedures
• Assist Tier 2 end user support when required, to ensure the successful resolution of support tickets
• Monitor, Diagnose, troubleshot, and resolve IT infrastructure anomalies
• Other duties as assigned by the Manager of Information Technology


Skills and Qualifications
• University/College Degree in the field of computer science, information systems or other related discipline
• Minimum 5 years' experience in IT infrastructure operations and planning
• Excellent working knowledge of IP Networking concepts and related technologies
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server (2012 R2, 2016) and related technologies including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DFS
• Advanced understanding of the following virtualization technologies: VMware ESX, Citrix and XenApp.
• Advanced understanding of Microsoft Exchange Server 2016
• Minimum 5 years' experience in managing and implementing onsite Exchange servers
• Strong understanding of web servers and related technologies including SSL, DNS, HTTP
• Senior level administration of NAS/SAN devices
• Solid understanding of high-availability, backup and disaster recovery concepts and related technologies
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Windows 7, 8, 10 and Microsoft Office
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting application/database/network/system issues
• Working knowledge of SQL or other transferable relevant languages interfacing with a backend relational database system is a plus
• Must be prepared to provide support after hours and on weekends
