Office 365 Analyst

Contract position, to December 31, 2021

If you're a strong team player who keeps current with Microsoft 365 changes, updates and new Microsoft releases for Office 365 and related products, your expertise is in demand at the Peel District School Board (PDSB).

Reporting to the Team Leader, you'll be responsible for supporting and administering the operations and project-based work of all Microsoft-based infrastructures (e.g. 0365, Teams, OneDrive for Business, Stream the Booking system, Power Automate, etc.). Leveraging your current knowledge of the application of Microsoft-related technologies, you're well prepared to provide consulting support and oversight, including Microsoft 365 and associated technology, as well as facilitate regression/UAT testing activities, deliver system training, and perform post-implementation support.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

With a post-secondary education in a technology-related discipline, and no fewer than two (2) to three (3) years' experience with cloud technologies, you have a solid foundation for success in this role. As an Office 365 Analyst, you'll also make good use of your:

  • PowerShell automation scripting experience used for various tasks related to security, reporting, and configuration within a Microsoft tenant.
  • Excellent technical, presentation, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to design and implement advanced functions of Office 365, including data governance, and compliance (e.g., sensitivity labeling, DLP, E-Discovery, In-Place Hold, Retention Tags, and Encryption).
  • Commitment to staying current on Microsoft 365 changes, updates and new Microsoft releases for Office 365 and related products.
  • Ability to perform application maintenance, e.g. system parameters, user permissions, group policies, etc.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 applications (InfoPath, Modern sites, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, Stream, Planner, PowerApps, Flow, Endpoint Manager, etc.).
  • Excellent troubleshooting, planning, technical documentation, and migration skills.
  • Ability to multi-task effectively.
  • Demonstrated commitment to working in a diverse school community and/or work environment.
  • A reputation as a strong team player.

SALARY RANGE:  $65,661- 77,963 $per annum
