Wage/salary: $60/hour with vacation pay at 4% of gross wages/year

    Detailed Description and Job Requirements:

    This Director position is responsible for managing business operations and resources of a given practice that can be defined by industry, service line, technology center, specialty area or region. Responsible for managing the three main pillars of a practice: people management, portfolio/delivery management and sales enablement. Has profit and loss responsibility or financial/expense management of practice.

    Accountable for operational/financial metrics and overall business results of practice. Responsible for maintaining strategic direction, ensuring profitable growth of the practice, quality of consulting delivery, and maintaining customer reference ability. Develops strategy and plans to successfully implement operational policies and achieve business objectives. Accountable for managing and growing a significant revenue stream and customer base. Typically manages multiple first line managers and/or senior level individual contributors. Resolves staffing issue in complex engagements. May serve as advisor or project sponsor role for moderately complex engagements.

    5-10 years of experience relevant to this position including 5-10 years of consulting experience and 5 years of project management leadership experience. Direct line Management experience including project, people, customer, financial management preferred. Product, technology or industry expertise relevant to the practice focus. Ability to develop and maintain relationships at the executive level. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Ability to travel as needed.

    • Enterprise Application Management experience across multiple industries, countries, and cultures
    • High level of technical acumen
    • Expert in all areas of IT management, including planning, budget & forecast, leadership
    • Expert in customer relations
    • Subject matter expertise, at architect level, in key ERP (Oracle E-Business Suite) areas such as Supply Chain Management, Asset Management, Financials, Analytics, System Administration, Workflow, AME, etc.
    • Adherence to corporate policies and controls
    • Fluent in English 
    • Help clients understand best practices so they can do more with Oracle
    • Spot strategies, risks and options, and then recommend approaches that sidestep problems and help clients and functions meet their needs
    • Lead, coach and advise project staff in addition to managing their performance (depending upon the structure of a project)
    • Give clients options for designs using prototypes
    • Set up and test the Oracle system; understand and apply Oracle methodologies
    • Work with clients and stakeholders to make sure they get where they want to go
    • Gain the trust of your client, teammates, and managers to make sure projects get delivered
    • Keep growing your skills to help your team with business development and sales efforts
    • Stay in the know on leading industry trends and Oracle features to give your clients the best solutions for their needs
    • Be ready to rack up those air miles with frequent travel to client sites Monday through Thursday
    • Minimum 5-10 years' experience in
      • Oracle ERP systems (EBS)
      • managing and supporting conference room pilot workshops
      • supporting testing activities including: Unit testing, system testing and user acceptance testing
    • Minimum 5 years' experience in managing personnel in multi-cultural and global settings.
    • A Bachelor's Degree
