What You'll Be Doing:

The Applications Analyst is a project-based position responsible for the implementation, customization and maintenance of Firm end-user applications while monitoring and providing relevant helpdesk support. You will be collaborating with the IT Committee to provide applications recommendations and relevant update and will develop and coordinate appropriate training to ensure effective and efficient application use and a positive end-user experience for the Firm.

Specifics include:

  • Analyze the need for new applications; research and analysis of emerging technologies, customizing new applications and software;
  • Coordinate training and assistance for end-users;
  • Create and automate internal reports/dashboards as needed;.
  • Administer and maintain end-user applications as required including testing, customizing and performance analysis;
  • Support IT Manager in maintaining anti-virus and anti-spam appliances, software licensing and hardware purchasing and set-up;
  • Other duties as assigned. Note: this is a new role to the Firm and will continue to be defined and developed over time.

What We're Looking For:

  • University Degree or College Diploma in Computer Science or a related discipline or a combination of education, training and experience deemed to be equivalent;
  • Minimum three years of related experience in applications support or a similar role;
  • Knowledge of relational database including SQL Server
  • Foundational understanding of Windows operating systems
  • MOS, considered an asset
