We are looking for an Account Executive with software sales experience. A smart, technically inclined and hungry individual who is willing to mainly hunt, but also farm their existing book of business.  Someone who is eager to go and get new business but who also enjoys creating long-term sustainable relationships and finds the prospect of building a large book of business to be attractive.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Account Executive will be responsible for:

  1. Generating revenue by creating an individual sales plan and closing sales from leads which are generated through the execution of that plan
  2. Generating revenue by closing sales from leads which are provided through corporate marketing efforts
  3. Generating revenue by upselling & cross-selling to existing Intouch Insight clients
  4. Preserving existing revenue by maintaining strong client relationships & securing renewal agreements on a book of business

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage your activities regarding existing clients, leads and opportunities in Salesforce on a daily basis
  • Promptly reply to any requests generated by assigned contacts
  • Proactive outbound calling to target new business or selling into different departments/groups and existing clients
  • Create sales plans to ensure effective sales coverage and that sales targets are met
  • Follow an established sales process to inform clients and potential clients of Intouch Insights Customer Experience Management products and services
  • Maintain scrupulous call records and account status information in our CRM
  • Participate in developing sales strategies and forecasts
  • Become a demo guru through practice and by continually learning new features and functions as they become available
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of Intouch Insight products and services, as well as sales objectives, strategies, pricing, implementation policies and practices
  • Manage client contract renewals for assigned accounts
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with assigned client base
  • Work in conjunction with internal Operations to ensure clients' needs are met and they are seeing value with the Intouch solution
  • Provide quotes on new program inquiries
  • Serve as an escalation point for client issues or concerns and ensure they are resolved
  • Become highly skilled at discovery calls, getting to the core pains and asking appropriate open-ended questions
  • Travel and meet with potential clients, existing clients and for tradeshows as required
  • Respond to RFPs from existing or potential clients

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree/diploma or equivalent training in business, marketing or sales
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant and successful sales experience   
  • Exceptional Phone-based communication, presentation and demonstration skills
  • Proven ability to qualify customer needs and then translate product functionality into client value
  • Track record of consistent quota over-achievement
  • Excellent proficiency when learning new software and computer skills
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve results while operating under minimal supervision
  • Previous formal sales training is an asset
  • Fluent written and spoken French is not required but is considered an asset
