Analyst III – Web Applications and Developer
Temporary, full-time position (from April 1, 2021 to March 31, 2023) – Guelph, ON
The Alumni Affairs and Development (AA&D) department is a central service at the University of Guelph, by raising money for the institution's strategic priorities through the identification and alignment of donors and prospective donors. AA&D has recently undergone a re-organization to support the vision to attract $50-million in sustained annual philanthropic support (over a period of five to eight years) and to be one of Canada's most sought-after advancement organizations.
As an Analyst III – Web Applications and Developer, you'll be part of the AA&D Information Systems team and, as such, exemplify the recently defined department values of respect, empowerment, integrity, appreciation and forward focus. Reporting to the Associate Director, Information Services, and working within our CRM system and internet solutions (Blackbaud CRM, BBIS), you'll ensure that front-end users, including our external constituents, can successfully create connections with the institution. These will include donation management, crowdfunding, peer-to-peer fundraising, tribute giving, event registration and information updates.
Our core web platform, Drupal 7x, is critical for ensuring our constituents can safely navigate and locate information that is secure and have an enjoyable user experience. You'll contribute to these goals by ensuring data integrity via API connections between on-premises and cloud-based applications, and providing support for our cloud-based applications and the integration of data, including documentation, business process, user case creation, testing, business analysis and task analysis.
