Senior Programmer Analyst

Two (2) temporary, full-time positions

As an Analyst – Senior Programmer on our ITS Business Solutions & Apps team, you'll be responsible for providing technical direction on the system design and development of new systems, as well as developing, maintaining and supporting new and existing software applications.

RESPONSIBILITIES

More specifically, as a Senior Programmer Analyst, you will:

  • Administer and support corporate applications.
  • Take a lead role in the design and development of systems, including initial concepts, end-user requirements analysis and systems designs.
  • Evaluate new technologies, databases and development tools.
  • Evaluate, configure, implement, upgrade and monitor system performance on software products.
  • Provide support and assistance to other members within your areas of expertise.
  • Diagnose and solve systems and applications problems.
  • Provide 2nd level support, including problem resolution, troubleshooting and user technical assistance.

QUALIFICATIONS

In the role of Analyst – Senior Programmer, you will apply the following education, experience and skills:

  • A university degree in a computer-related discipline or equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of five (5) years' related experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Microsoft .NET and .NET Core framework using C#.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of HTML5, CSS and JavaScript.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in Windows 7-10, Windows Server 2012-2019, MS SQL Server 2008-2019 and database development.
  • Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Visual Studio and TFS.
  • Demonstrated experience with mobile development for Android and iOS.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of development approaches with Agile Development, SDLC.
  • Demonstrated oral communication, interpersonal, analytical, research and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently.

The wage range for these temporary, full-time positions is $33.98 to $57.25 per hour.
