Senior Business Relationship Analyst

Reporting to the Director, Business Relationships, the Senior Business Relationship Analyst enables the success of initiatives through effective, creative, and innovative IT initiatives on behalf of the business. The Senior Business Relationship Analyst has the mandate to establish a relationship between IT and the business, and to increase the value realized from IT assets, investments, and capabilities.  The Senior Business Relationship Analyst is responsible for understanding the business, assisting in the prioritization of projects, ensuring that projects align with the technology that provides maximum return on investment, and directing IT strategy in support of the overall business strategy. 

Qualifications & Experience

Must have:

  • BA/BS Degree in the field of business administration, computer science, finance or information systems ( or related field)

  • At least 5 years' experience managing projects including project planning, budgeting, controlling processes, and valuing IT investments

  • Demonstrated ability to apply the strategic use of technology to support organizational core business processes and operations

  • Proven experience with business and technical requirements analyses, elicitation, modeling, verification, and methodology development

  • Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve high levels of customer satisfaction

  • Proven ability to build lasting client relationships based on effective communication and gaining a thorough understanding of what each client needs in order to be satisfied

  • Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office software programs


  • Successful completion of the CFA Claritas Program or Canadian Securities Course

  • Success executing marketing and promotion campaigns

  • Proven experience establishing IT performance metrics, including monitoring and reporting

  • PMP certification
