The Information Technology Department is responsible for providing technology solutions that contribute to the achievement of BCI's vision and long-term goals. The department manages the Corporation's business applications and information technology infrastructure, providing support to a large group of financial professionals. The IT Department is also responsible for authoring IT-related directives and conducting disaster recovery planning to minimize risk to the Corporation's delivery of investment services.
Reporting to an IT Account Manager, the IT Business Planner is responsible for developing and delivering the key artifacts that enable strategic projects for business clients. The IT Business Planner works closely with IT teams across the Department to research project opportunities, conduct options analysis, develop feasibility studies and deliver compelling business cases for potential IT projects. S/he supports a portfolio of IT projects that extend and advance business client goals. The position can be based in either Vancouver or Victoria with travel between the two cities.
