Senior Advisory, Modernization Advisory Services

$88,152.35 - $100,665.30 annually, plus 9.9% Temporary Market Adjustment (TMA)

The Modernization Advisory Services team supports program areas across government to adopt modern, digital ways of working. We provide custom advice, mentorship, and research insights to enable creation and sustainment of cross-functional continuous service improvement teams. The teams we build learn to use Agile methods and modern technology to improve services for the people of British Columbia.

As a Senior Advisor, you have a breadth of expertise and thrive in an ever-changing, complex environment. This role is responsible for collaboratively designing, building, and implementing programs, products, and services for priority Exchange Lab partners in Residence. The Senior Advisor also contributes guidance and mentorship to peers across the digital service delivery network in government.

Qualifications for this role include:

  • Related Bachelor’s degree in a technology discipline, public administration, digital governance and/or human-centred design. A combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • At least 3 years experience in the direct application of agile methods for service delivery involving the development of technology products.
  • At least 3 years experience working in teams using human-centered approaches, including direct research with people who will use the service.
  • At least 1 year direct experience facilitating change for individuals and organizations towards more open and collaborative practices.
  • Experience facilitating group process.
