Business Systems Analyst

We are looking for strategic, customer focused Business systems analysts to lead exciting technical projects within our department – you will work closely with clients to integrate people, process and technology in the development of automated business solutions. You will be forward thinking, identifying and deploying opportunities for the technology and process improvement within and across functional business units.
Your Business systems analyst responsibilities:
This role supports the organization in the development of business systems to automate and enhance processes. This includes defining requirements, performing testing, system support, developing procedures and workflows. You will also be responsible for training other employees, developing and maintaining existing applications and other e-Learning initiatives. Developing, implementing, and documenting reports applications and reports using spreadsheets, databases and query tools as well as assisting all HR Business Process Owners (Recruiting, Talent Management, Compensation, Core HCM) with system related set up and security issues are important aspects of this role.
Your experience and skills:
To be successful in this position, you will have a degree or diploma in Computer Science or Management Information Systems with at least three years of experience in a complex business or IT environment. Experience working with Workday is highly desirable. You will have high technical aptitude, the ability to learn new applications and processes quickly and explain these complex concepts to non-technical colleagues. Strong project management skills are required with a highly developed understanding of business and system analysis, business process management and change management. Additional requirements are demonstrated leadership and facilitation skills.

Salary: Grade 11
Start Rate: $73,500 to Job Rate $86,436 per annum
Note: WCB has implemented a COVID-19 vaccination protocol. Successful candidates are required to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination by November 30th, 2021/on their first day of employment or a negative COVID-19 PCR test (at the employee's cost) taken up to 72 hours prior to entering any WCB building for scheduled work days in the office.
