1903 marked the beginnings of the H.Y. Louie Company at the corner of Georgia Street and Main in Vancouver’s Chinatown.  For the past 115 years the family business has been nimble and adaptable with the energy and foresight to grow and thrive in the highly competitive grocery industry. In 2018 the H.Y. Louie Company created the  Georgia Main Food Group Limited that is now is the parent company of the IGA (BC) banner and Fresh St. Market.
