You as a Data Analyst will: Elicit, analyze, specify, and validate the business needs of internal and external stakeholders; Leverage your: knowledge of statistical/mathematical methods; expertise with data analysis tools and techniques; and advanced analytical ability to derive actionable insights from data; Create informative visualizations (dashboards) and reports that intuitively displays large amounts of data and/or complex relationships; Determine, implement, and evaluate business metrics to meet ongoing organizational business objectives; Work closely with scrum development teams to maximize the value of data products; Identify new sources of data and develop data collection systems to improve data collection, analysis, and reporting; Support data migrations from legacy systems into new systems such as Workday, Financial systems, ..etc Is this the right role for you? 2-4 years of relevant work experience as an analyst or equivalent Experience solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches Construction experience working on (50M+) Civil or Building projects an asset Knowledge and experience in the following: Business Intelligence Tools (experience with DundasBI an asset); Databases (SQL, NoSQL, relational, etc.); Statistical analysis (Excel, SPSS, SAS, R, or Python); ETL methodologies and toolsets; Scripting language an asset (Python, or other). Requirements
Candidates need 2-4 years of relevant analytical experience and proficiency in SQL, statistical analysis tools, and ETL methodologies. Experience in the construction industry on large-scale projects is considered an asset.
