English version below, French version will follow: About the role Reporting to the IT Manager, the IT Specialist plays a critical role in maintaining and optimizing our internal technology environment. This role ensures the reliability, security, and efficiency of systems while providing hands-on support to employees across the organization. What you'll do Provide day-to-day technical support across hardware, software, and network systems, ensuring timely resolution of issues Manage and resolve incidents and service requests through a ticketing system, maintaining SLA performance Administer user accounts, permissions, and access across systems, networks, and cloud platforms Maintain directory services (e.g., Active Directory), including authentication and group policies Perform system maintenance, including updates, patching, and backups to ensure stability and business continuity Monitor and validate backup systems, including periodic recovery testing Configure and support network infrastructure (VPNs, firewalls, endpoint security, Ubiquiti environments) Deploy and maintain laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and other IT equipment Support onboarding and offboarding processes in collaboration with HR (account setup, access provisioning, device management) Maintain clear and accurate IT documentation, including SOPs and asset inventories Support AWS cloud environments (compute, storage, networking) Contribute to IT projects such as system upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure improvements Develop scripts and automation workflows to improve operational efficiency Promote IT best practices and provide user training on security and tools Enforce IT security policies, including access control and vulnerability management Monitor system and network performance, proactively identifying and resolving risks Act as a liaison with third-party vendors and escalate complex issues when needed Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning and testing Qualifications Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and networking environments Experience with cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS Hands-on knowledge of Windows Server and Linux systems Familiarity with networking technologies, including VPNs, firewalls, and Ubiquiti equipment Experience managing identity and access systems (e.g., Active Directory) Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment Strong documentation, communication, and collaboration skills A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and operational efficiency Nice to Have Experience with automation/scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python) Exposure to endpoint security tools and monitoring platforms Experience in a scaling startup or tech-driven environment Version française: À propos du rôle Relevant du gestionnaire TI, le ou la Spécialiste TI assure le bon fonctionnement, la sécurité et l’optimisation des systèmes informatiques de l’entreprise. La personne titulaire du poste offre un soutien technique aux employés et contribue activement à la continuité des opérations. Responsabilités principales Offrir un soutien technique aux utilisateurs (matériel, logiciels, réseaux) et assurer le suivi des demandes Gérer les incidents et requêtes via un système de billetterie, selon les priorités établies Administrer les comptes utilisateurs, les accès et les permissions aux systèmes et plateformes Maintenir les services d’annuaire (ex. Active Directory), incluant l’authentification et les politiques de sécurité Effectuer les mises à jour, correctifs et sauvegardes nécessaires au bon fonctionnement des systèmes Assurer le suivi des sauvegardes et effectuer des tests de restauration périodiques Configurer et maintenir les équipements et infrastructures réseau (VPN, pare-feu, sécurité des postes de travail, Ubiquiti) Installer, configurer et entretenir les équipements informatiques (ordinateurs, portables, périphériques, appareils mobiles) Participer à l’accueil et au départ des employés (configuration des accès et équipements) Maintenir à jour la documentation TI (procédures, inventaires, configurations) Participer aux projets TI (mises à niveau, migrations, améliorations des systèmes) Contribuer à l’automatisation de certaines tâches afin d’améliorer l’efficacité opérationnelle Sensibiliser les utilisateurs aux bonnes pratiques en matière de sécurité informatique Appliquer les mesures de sécurité TI en vigueur au sein de l’entreprise Surveiller les systèmes afin d’identifier et corriger les anomalies de manière proactive Collaborer avec les fournisseurs externes au besoin Participer aux activités de continuité des affaires et de reprise après sinistre Exigences du poste Expérience pertinente en soutien technique et administration de systèmes Connaissance des environnements infonuagiques (ex. AWS) Bonne maîtrise des systèmes Windows Server et Linux Connaissances en réseautique (VPN, pare-feu, équipements Ubiquiti) Expérience avec la gestion des accès (ex.
