Role Description This is a full-time hybrid Web Developer role based in Montreal, QC, with a combination of in-office and work-from-home flexibility. The Web Developer will design, develop, and maintain company websites and web applications, ensuring they are secure, scalable, and aligned with business objectives. Daily responsibilities include implementing front-end user interfaces, building and integrating back-end services, optimizing performance, and maintaining responsive, accessible design standards. The role involves collaborating with internal stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions, troubleshooting issues, performing regular updates, and ensuring a consistent user experience across browsers and devices. Qualifications Strong front-end skills in Front-End Development and Web Design, including responsive layouts and user-focused interfaces. Proficiency in Back-End Web Development and Programming to build, integrate, and maintain server-side logic and APIs. Solid understanding of overall Web Development principles, workflows, and best practices for secure, maintainable code. Experience with modern web technologies and frameworks (e.g., HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and common libraries or frameworks). Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows. Ability to analyze requirements, document technical solutions, and communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment. Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience. Experience working in finance, professional services, or consulting environments is an asset. Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setup, attending on-site meetings in Montreal, QC as required.
