RQ11753 - Senior Data Analytical Specialist / Scientist Location: Toronto, ON (5 Days Onsite) Duration: October 26, 2026 – October 5, 2027 (can extend) Security Clearance: CRJMC Required Par rate: $80-85 Type: Contract We are seeking a Senior Data Analytical Specialist / Scientist to lead advanced analytics, machine learning, and data-driven decision-making initiatives within a large-scale enterprise environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing analytics solutions, building predictive models, designing data pipelines, and delivering actionable insights to support strategic business decisions. Must-Have Skills 5+ years of experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud environments 5+ years of experience with Big Data frameworks and technologies Strong expertise in SQL, data manipulation, and managing large relational databases Experience sourcing, cleaning, transforming, and structuring complex or unstructured datasets Experience developing, testing, and deploying Machine Learning, Predictive Analytics, Classification Models, and Deep Learning solutions Hands-on experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar ML frameworks Experience with ASP.NET, .NET Core, Web API Development, Entity Framework, Azure SQL Strong experience with DevOps, CI/CD Pipelines, Automated Deployments, and Configuration Management Proficiency across cloud service models (SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS) Experience working in Agile environments using Kanban or similar methodologies Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. Nice-to-Have Skills Experience supporting large government or public sector applications Experience with ETL development, data integration, and data engineering Knowledge of Natural Language Processing (NLP), Data Mining, Statistical Modeling, and Information Visualization Experience with Power BI, R, SAS, SPSS, MATLAB, Excel, Access, or VBA Experience designing dashboards, reporting solutions, and business intelligence applications Knowledge of data governance, data architecture, and enterprise analytics best practices.
