Job summary
Our client, a company specializing in the supply of masonry materials as well as the sale and rental of construction equipment, is currently seeking a Yard Worker. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing equipment for rental, performing general yard maintenance, handling materials, and supporting the company’s day-to-day operations.
What you’ll do
- Load and unload trucks. - Perform general maintenance of the yard and warehouse. - Inspect the condition of equipment and materials. - Operate a forklift. - Maintain a clean and safe work environment. - Perform any other related duties as required. Requirements
- Valid forklift operator certification (required). - Valid Class 5 driver's licence. - Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 30 kg. - Experience in a similar role (an asset). Salary: $25 per hour Schedule: Day shift, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., 40 hours per week Status: Permanent, full-time
