Job summary

Role Overview Axya is seeking a Cybersecurity lead to protect our digital infrastructure, data, and AI-driven platforms from evolving cyber threats. You will design, implement, and monitor security measures to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our systems. Cybersecurity professionals in Canada typically develop, implement, and monitor security controls to prevent unauthorized access and attacks . Key Responsibilities * Monitor systems, networks, and applications for suspicious activity and security incidents * Detect, investigate, and respond to cyber threats in real time * Perform vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis * Implement and maintain security tools (firewalls, SIEM, endpoint protection) * Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures * Conduct incident response and post-incident analysis * Ensure compliance with Canadian regulations (e.g., PIPEDA) and industry standards * Collaborate with engineering and product teams to embed security into Axya’s platform * Provide employee training on cybersecurity awareness and best practices These tasks align with typical Canadian roles, including monitoring systems, identifying vulnerabilities, and responding to incidents .
