5 month remote contract working Atlantic Standard Time Zone Senior Web Developer Responsibilities Collaborate with architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to evaluate enhancement requests and estimate effort. Gather and analyze business requirements and technical specifications. Design, develop, and maintain web applications and services. Create efficient, maintainable, and scalable software solutions. Execute unit and functional testing to ensure solution quality. Support system, integration, and user acceptance testing. Troubleshoot defects and implement corrective actions. Contribute to development standards, best practices, and documentation. Provide technical guidance and support to team members. Participate in deployment planning and implementation activities. Deliverables Technical design and architecture documentation. Developed and enhanced web application components. Unit-tested software with documented outcomes. Defect remediation and testing support documentation. Qualifications Extensive experience developing web applications using ASP.NET, C#, SQL, JavaScript, and related Microsoft technologies. Experience with modern web frameworks and source control/DevOps platforms. Strong database development and optimization experience. Experience with software delivery, configuration management, and deployment processes. Strong testing and quality assurance experience. Ability to mentor and support other developers. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Experience estimating effort and reporting project progress. Asset Qualifications Experience developing accessible web applications. Experience developing RESTful or SOAP-based web services. Experience contributing to application architecture and technical design. Experience with government, public-sector, or enterprise digital platforms.
