This role is in the Platform Organization within the Product Design and Manufacturing Solutions (PDMS) division. We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join one of our teams to help us fulfill the mission of the organization, supporting cross platform device independence including focus on creating a new framework that supports parity between Native/Mobile and Browser development. Responsibilities: Design, implement, test and maintain high-quality, secure & stable code for use by other teams to deliver products and solutions for customers. Participate in design and code reviews. Develop estimates for tasks, evaluate risks and identify dependencies, to aid in planning. Work as part of a very collaborative team of software engineers, QAs and designers in Toronto and potentially other worldwide engineering sites. Minimum Qualifications: 5-6 years of professional experience as a Software Developer or similar role. Outstanding programming, debugging and problem-solving skills. Hands-on professional experience developing production software with AI coding assistants (e.g. Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) as part of a daily workflow. Client-side web development skills: Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, Node/NPM, React & Redux frameworks. Experience and familiarity in using web-based technologies, concepts, and constructs. Strong, demonstrable interest in software architecture and design. Knowledge of source control systems, especially Git & GitHub. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with developing web applications in a modular, componentized manner. Experience with Agile methodology. Experience with usage of Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Familiarity with test automation tools & strategies.
