Arobas Personnel is looking for an enthusiastic expert in data science / machine learning having a solid knowledge of predictive analytics (theory and applications)!

 

This job demands great analytical skills and the desire to work as a team player in assisting the live operations and collaborate closely with a production team.

 

Responsibilities

·         Research, design and develop predictive models

·         Research and develop statistical models and segmentations

·         Design and execute complex statistical analyses on terabytes of live data to quantify observed trends and patterns

·         Create machine learning algorithms to automate different aspects of live operations

·         Help plan and execute A/B tests

·         Produce reports to make the leads aware of your contribution and increase knowledge of the product throughout the studio

·         Document processes and allow them to be reproduced

·         Closely follow new algorithms + technological advances and imagine how we could use it! 

 

REQUIREMENTS

Skills and Qualifications:

·         Quantitative field university diploma in machine learning, math, statistics, physics, CS (Master’s or PhD would be an asset!)

·         Solid data science / machine learning knowledge

·         Proficiency in Python, R, Scala or Java script

·         Knowledge of SQL-based database systems

·         Ability to approach problems with an analytical and logical view

·         Methodology oriented and open-minded

·         Ability to merge business and modelling needs into an executable plan

·         Ability to multi-task

·         Creativity to be able to review problems from many different angles

·         Excellent written and oral communication skills

Desirable experience:

·         Experience in predictive modelling (supervised, unsupervised, reinforced, deep learning) and statistics within an applied business context

·         Experience in data mining using terabyte-sized data

·         Cloudera and Tableau Software knowledge is an asset

·         Knowledge and understanding of social gaming on mobile and Facebook platforms (especially the social casino genre)

·         GitHub of portfolio experience
