We are currently recruiting for a Visual Analytics Developer to work with the Department of Information Services and Technology at the Schulich School of Business for this exciting opportunity. 

Are you a professional within the field of Information Technology? Do you possess experience in Data Management and Research Methodologies? Do you possess at least 2 years' experience creating custom dashboards and reports? Do you possess advanced knowledge of web based tools and operating systems? In this role, you will perform tasks to support data analyses and data visualization functions (including data quality tasks) for various departments within Schulich School of Business (SSB). You will operate in a proactive manner and work with IS&T team members to identify client data needs and translate those needs into visually representative "stories" of the data/information, using various tools and applications. You will extract data from a variety of sources, including spreadsheets, relational and non-relational databases, and the University Data Warehouse; and transforms the data into such formats as can be used by in-house data visualization toolsets.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will possess:

A University Degree in Computer Science, or Mathematics (with emphasis on data management and with both theoretical and practical applications of statistics and research methodologies). In addition, we are seeking candidates who have 2 years' of experience working directly with TIBCO Spotfire and Google Analytics, as well as working with other data extraction and data visualization tools combined with direct experience working with data processing and data integrity standards. The successful incumbent will possess experience performing business analysis, application development, and producing documentation, within a fast-paced and progressive IT-focused, Office/365, environment.
